Ingredients
- 4 large apples, peeled and cored
- 1/3 c water
- 1/4 c small red cinnamon candies
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 mint leaves

Step 1
in 4 quart sauce pan, heat apples, water, candies and butter t boiling over high heat. reduce heat to med. cover sauce pan and cook 8 to 10 min. or until apples are tender, turning apples occasionally and spooning syrup over apples to coat.
to serve, place each apple on a desert dish. spoon cinnamon syrup over and around the apples. garnish with mint leaves. serve warm.
