Easy Cranberry Relish

The original recipe called for 1 1/5 Cups of sugar. I put in 1 Cup and it was plenty sweet. I'd almost say even less. A great fruity flavor. Next time I might try adding some chunks of orange. I used the blender - worked great, but next time only do half a bag at a time.

Ingredients
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. fresh cranberries
- 1 1/2 c. sugar or to taste
- Zest from 1 orange or 1 lemon (or from both for extra flavor)
Preparation
Step 1
In a food processor or blender, coarsely chop the cranberries.
In a large bowl, toss berries and sugar together. Add zest to cranberries; stir. Refrigerate for 6-8 hours or overnight to let flavors blend. Stir again before serving.
