Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cup oats
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup raisins (optional)

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375
Mix all ingredients, except for oats, flour and raisins. Stir in oat, flour and raisins.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake approximately 10 minutes
