Ingredients
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup lard
- 3 eggs
- salt & vanilla
- 1 tsp cream of tarter
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 3-1/2 cups flour
- nuts (optional)

Step 1
mix ingredients together in order given. Form into rolls and refrigerate 1 hr. Slice 1/4" thick and bake at 300 for 10 minutes
