Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup quick grits
- 2 ounces sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 2 ounces Monterey Jack Cheese
- 1 (8oz) package Cream cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine the water and grits in a stockpot. cook over medium heat for 20 minutes, stirring evey few minutes. make sure to scrape the bottom of the pan with the spoon each time.
2. While the grits are cooking, grate cheddar and monterey jack cheese. When the grits are done, stir in the cream cheese, grated cheeses, and salt. Stir until the cheeses are melted. Serve immediately.
