Standard Ambrosia Salad with Southern Flair Thanks to the Addition of Amaretto, Pecans and Toasted Coconut for the topping.

Ingredients
- 16-20 Ounces of PINEAPPLE "Chunks in Heavy Syrup (Drained)
- 16-20 Ounces of MANDARINE ORANGES (Drained)
- 2 Jars MARASCHINO CHERRIES (Drained)
- 1 Cup COCONUT FLAKES
- Additional COCONUT FLAKES for Toasting
- 1 Cup MINI MARSHMALLOWS
- 1 Cup PECAN PIECES
- 8 Ounces SOUR CREAM
- 1-2 Ounces of AMARETTO
- 16 Ounces WHIPPED CREAM
Preparation
Step 1
Drain PINEAPPLE, ORANGES and CHERRIES.
Cover fruit with AMARETTO and chill for 2 hours.
Drain fruit of excess liquid.
Combine SOUR CREAM and WHIPPING CREAM.
FOLD IN OHER INGREDIENTS.
Chill covered for at least 2 hours.
Toast Coconut 3-5 minutes under broiler.
Sprinkle Toasted Cocount over Ambrosia just prior to serving.
