Ingredients
- 1 - 3 -4 lb whole snapper
- 2 cans crab meat
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 loaf white bread
- salt
- lemon juice
Preparation
Step 1
Saute garlic in butter. Don't let the garlic brown.
Add drained crab meat.
Remove crust from bread, break into pieces and add to crab mixture until all of the butter is absorbed.
Salt fish inside and out, then rub lemon juice inside and out; re-salt the fish.
Stuff and wrap fish in tin foil.
Bake at 250 for 1 hour.
Unwrap, leave on foil and put under broiler 5-10 minutes until brown.
Peel skin back and serve.
