HannaH's Yummy Granola veganized

Ingredients

  • 2 c organic rolled oats
  • 2/3 c sliced or chopped almonds, (or if you're out, macadamia, walnuts, pecans…)
  • 1/3 c ground flax seeds
  • i/2 c organic shredded coconut
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • 1/2 t coarse sea salt or coarse pink Himalayan
  • 3 T Earth Balance, melted
  • 1/3 c organic brown sugar
  • 1/4 c organic maple or blue agave
  • 1/2 t Mexican vanilla
  • goji berries
  • organic dried cranberries
  • hemp seeds
  • (let it be said, feel free to sub and make it your own)

Preparation

Step 1

stir the first 6 ingredients together
add the sugar and maple to the melted Earth Balance and stir until the granulation disappears
add the vanilla
combine the butter sugar mix with the grains combined above
spread out thinly on a cookie sheet (or whatever, I still don't have one)
bake at 250F for an hour, stirring every 10-15 minutes so it browns evenly

after it cools, mix in the goji berries, cranberries and hemp seeds

I store mine in a canister, but it never lasts long.

We eat it with Pacific Hemp milk (no carageenan, unlike TemptT) and 1/2 an organic banana
