Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups unblanched almonds
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp coarse salt
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tsp olive oil

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Spread almonds on baking sheets; toast til fragrant, about 10 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine sugar, salt and cayenne pepper.
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook honey, water and oil, stirring til combined, about 1 minute. Add almonds; toss to coat. Transfer nuts to sugar mix. (Do not scrape extra glaze into bowl). Toss to coat. Cool completely, in a single layer. Store in airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
