My daughter invented this sorbet - Ice cream made using the Cuisinart Automatic Frozen Yogurt, Sorbet & Ice-Cream Maker (ICE-20 Series)

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups sugar
  • 2 Cups water
  • 3/4 Cups freshly squeeze lemon juice (no pits/pulp - 9-10 lemons)
  • 3/4 Cups frozen raspberries (food processed add water to help get juice)
  • 3/4 Cups fresh squeezed orange juice (no puts/pulp 3-4 oranges)

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to boil. Lower heat and simmer without stirring until sugar dissolves. Cool completely.

Mix lemon juice, raspberry juice, orange juice and sugar water (simple syrup) in bowl. Pour into ice cream machine.

Turn machine on and pour mixture into freezer bowl. Let mix until thickened – about 20-25 minutes.
