Lemon Pound Cake

  • 2 sticks butter softened
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons lemon flavoring
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup milk

Step 1

Whip butter with sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating for 1 minute each. Add lemon flavoring. Alternating, add flour with milk, ending with flour. Bake in greased and floured bundt pan at 325 for 1 1/2 hours. Cool in pan for 10 minutes then turn out onto baking rake to cool completely.
