Ingredients
- 6 whole apples (peeled and sliced)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 4 tablespoons butter
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Toss apples with lemon juice
In a small bowl, mix sugars, cornstarch, salt and cinnamon
Toss apples with sugar mixture and mound apples into the prepared crust.
Pour any of the sugar mixture that is left in the bowl onto the apples.
Dot the apples with butter.
Add top crust.
Bake on a parchment lined baking sheet for 60 - 70 minutes.
