Ingredients

  • 3/4 cups Crisco Butter Flavor Shortening (or 3/4 of 1 stick)
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 3/4 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cub chopped walnuts

Step 1

Coat cookie sheet with no-stick cooking spray. Beat shortening, sugar, and brown sugar at medium speed until blended. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. beat into shortening mixtue until smooth. Stir in oats, dried cranberries, and walnuts. Drop by tablespoonfuls about 2" apart on prepared cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 min. or until light brown. Cool on baking sheet 2 min.
