Crunchy Pecan Apple Pie

Ingredients

• 3 T butter, divided
• 3 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cut into thin slices
• 2 Golden Delicious apples, peeled, cut into thin slices
• 4 c Post selects great grains risins, date & pecan cereal
• 1/2 c sugar
• 1 t ground cinnamon
• 1 deep dish pie crust 9"

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven 350*. Melt 1 T butter in large skillet med heat. Add apples; toss to coat. Cover with lid; cook 6-8 min or til apples tender; stir frequently.

Add 2 c cereal, sugar & cinnamon; mix ligthly. Spoon into pie crust; level top with back of spoon. Cover with remaining 2 c cereal. Melt remaining 2 T butter; drizzle over cereal.

Bake 45 min or til crust and top ligthly browned, covereing loosely with foil after 30 min.
