    c Sugar

  • 2

    c All purpose flour

  • 1/2

    c butter

  • 1/2

    c crisco

  • 1/4

    c cocoa

  • 1

    c water

  • 2

    large eggs beaten

  • 1/2

    c buttermilk

  • 1

    t vanilla

  • 1

    t baking soda

  • Icing:

  • 1/2

    c butter

  • 1/4

    c cocoa powder

  • 1/3

    c milk

  • lb powder sugar

  • t vanilla

  • 1

    c chopped pecans

Directions

Preheat 400. Sift flour and sugar into a large bowl. in sauce pan combine:butter,crisco,cocoa, and water. Bring to boil and stir until all melted. Pour over flour mixture. Stir in:eggs,buttermilk,vanilla,and soda. Pour into prepared 15X10 jelly roll pan. bake 20 minutes and top with Icing: cook butter,cocoa,and milk low for 5 minutes. Bring to boil and remove from heat. Add powdered sugar,vanilla and pecans. Beat medium speed until smooth.
