Garden Time! “Growing Sweet Potatoes Everywhere”

Ingredients

• Directions:
• 6 medium potatoes, grated
• 1/4 c. melted butter
• 3 eggs, separated
• 1/2 c. sugar
• 1/4 t. salt
• 1/4 t. cloves
• 1/4 t. cinnamon
• 1/2 c. molasses or corn syrup
• 1/2 c. chopped pecans
• marshmallows, cut in half (optional)
• 1 . Blend together all ingredients except egg whites and marshmallows.
• 2 . Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form and fold into sweet potatoe mixture.
• 3 . Pour into greased 1 1/2-2 qt. casserole dish.
• 4 . Bake at 350 F. for 30 minutes.
• 5 . Arrange marshmallow halves on top and continue to bake 5-10 minutes longer.
