strawberries and cream torte

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg angel food cake mix
  • 1 pkg(16oz) frozen strawberries with sugar
  • 1 envelope whipped topping
  • 1 tblsp cornstarch

Preparation

Step 1

partially thaw strawberries, drain, reserving 3/4 cup juice.

prepare whipped topping. combine fruit with topping. spread mixture between 3 layers of cake.

In small saucepan, combine cornstarch and juice. (add water to make 3/4 cup liquid if necessary) cook until thick. pour over top of cake. Allow to set before serving.
