- 2 POUNDS HAMBURGER

- 4 CARROTS CHUNKED
- 4 POTATOES CHUNKED
- 3 STALKS CELERY SLICED
- 1 16 OZ CAN STEWED TOMATOES
- 8 OR 9 CUPS WATER
- 1/4 CUP BARLEY
- 1/4 CUP RICE
- 1 TEASPOON WORCHESTERSIRE SAUCE
- 1/2 TEASPOON MARJORAM
- 2 TEASPOONS SUGAR
- 1 BAY LEAF
- 2 BEEF BOULLION CUBES
- 1/2 TEASPOON SALT OR TO TASTE

BROWN MEAT, CELERY AND ONIONS DRAIN
PUT ALL INGREDIENTS IN POT AND SIMMER 2-3 HPOURS
COULD ALSO PUT IN CROCKPOT AND COOK LOW 8 HOURS OR HIGH 3-4 HOURS
