Ingredients
- BOTTOM LAYER
- 1 cup all purpose
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup hard margarine (or butter) softened
- FILLING
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup caramel sauce
- TOPPING
- 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/3 cup hard margarine (or butter), softened
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
Preparation
Step 1
BOTTOM LAYER: Combine first 3 ingredients in medium bowl. Cut in margarine until crumbly. Press firmly in greased 9x9 inch pan. Bake in 350 oven for 15 minutes.
FILLING: Sprinkle bottom layer with both chocolate chips
Drizzle caramel sauce over top chocolate chips.
TOPPING: Stir flour and brown sugar in medium bowl. Cut in margarine until crumbly. Add pecans. Stir. Sprinkle over caramel sauce. Bake in 350 oven for about 20 minutes until browned.
