Ingredients
- Cheesecake filling:
- 9-inch pie crust
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teas. vanilla
- 1/4 teas. salt
- 1 1/4 cups chopped pecans
- For the pie filling:
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 sugar
- 1 teas. vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350* Place oven rack in lowest position.
Butter bottom and sides if dish. (If not using a prepared crust in pan). Place crust in dish. This recipe will need a deep dish.
To make cheesecake filling:
On medium speed on mixer, beat cream cheese, eggs, sugar, vanilla and salt. Pour over crust. Sprinkle pecans evenly over filling.
To make pie filling:
Whisk together corn syrup, 3 eggs, sugar, and vanilla. Pour over pecans.
Place pie plate on a baking sheet. Bake 50-55 min., or until set. Cool for an hour. Chill if not eaten soon and any leftovers.
