This dish is delicious, Just made it for a potluck we had at my job and my co-workers enjoyed it. Even though it requires sugar and maple, Beleive when I say this dish is not so sweet at all. Enjoy

Ingredients

  • Cinnamon Brown Sugar Maple Whipped Cream:
  • 1 boxed spice cake (requires eggs)
  • 1 box vanilla pudding (requires milk)
  • 1 jar of pumpkin pie filling
  • 2 tubs of cool whip (Recipe Below)
  • 1 jar of caramel topping
  • Pumpkin Spice
  • nutmeg
  • cinnamon
  • 2 cups of heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup natural brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of maple syrup

Preparation

Step 1

Bake cake according to box instructions.
Make vanilla pudding and set aside.
Mix 1 can of pumpkin pie mix with 1 tub of cool whip and refrigerate.
Remove cake from oven, once baked, and let cool. Cut cake into 1-2 inch squares.
Line bottom of trifle bowl with cake squares and top with 1/3 pumpkin pie mixture.
Top with more cake squares and top with vanilla pudding.
Layer with more cake squares and top with pumpkin pie mix.
Continue layering until you reach the top of the trifle bowl.
Top with large scoops of cool whip. Heat jar of caramel for a few seconds.
Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon.
