Ingredients

  • Crust:
  • 1 Cup oatmeal
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • Filling:
  • 4 cups cut up rhubarb
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 Tbl cornstarch1 tsp almond flavoring

Preparation

Step 1

Mix ingredients for crust. Place half of it in the bottom of a 9x13 pan.

Boil sugar, water & cornstarch together until thick.

Remove from heat and add almond flavoring.

Add pie filling.

Place rhubarb on crust and spoon filling over rhubarb.

Top with remaining crust mixture.

Bake 350 for 45 minutes.
