Red Cabbage Saute

  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • 1/2 lb red cabbage thinly sliced
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp sugar substitute
  • 1/2 onion thinly sliced
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp caraway seeds
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, peeled, cored, and finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • dash of black pepper

Step 1

Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat, hen add cabbage, onion and sugar substitute. Stir cabbage occasionally until cabbage wilts (7-8 min.) stir in the vinegar and caraway seeds cook about 3 min. Add apple, salt, and pepper. Cover and cook until appple is heated through.
