Minty Madness Buttercream Icing

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs confectioners sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 2 tsp. peppermint extract
  • food coloring, optional

Preparation

Step 1

Beat the butter in a mixer until smooth. Add the sugar, peppermint extract, salt, vanilla and 1/4 cup of the whole milk. Beat until you reach the desired consistency for icing,, adding more milk just a little at a time if needed. Place desired frosting tip in a pasty bag and fill with icing, then pipe on to the top of your cupcakes!
