Roasted Chickpeas

  • 2 (15 ounce) cans chickpeas (garbanzo beans) thoroughly drained & rinsed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp of spice - your choice, ground cumin, ground chili pepper, curry, or
  • cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt



Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees and arrange a rack in the mddle.

Place the chickpeas in a large bowl and toss with the remaining ingredients until evenly coated.

Spread the chickpeas in an even layer on a rimmed baking sheet and bake until crisp, about 25 minutes.
