Blueberry Bake (Blueberry French Toast)

Ingredients
- Sauce:
- 12 slices bread - remove crust
- 2 pkgs 8 oz Cream Cheese
- 1 cup blueberries
- 12 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/3 cup maple or white syrup
- 1 Tbl Cinnamon
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 Tbl Cornstarch
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups blueberries
- 2 Tbl Butter

Preparation
Step 1
Cut bread and cream cheese into 1" cubes. Place half of the bread in greased 13x9x2 baking dish. Then layer cream cheese. Top with blueberries and remaining bread. In large bowl beat eggs and cinnamon. Add milk and syrup. Mix well. Pour over bread mix. Cover and chill 8 hours.
Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Cover and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Uncover and continue baking for 25-30 minutes or until center is set. In sauce pan combine sugars, cornstarch and water. Boil for 3 minutes stirring constantly. Stir in blueberries. Reduce heat. Simmer 8-10 minutes. Stir in butter. Serve over french toast.
