  • 1 prepared unbaked 9-inch pie shell
  • 1 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 cups coarsely chopped pecans

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. and place rack at lowest position.
In a large bowl, lightly beat eggs. Add maple syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, and vanilla. Blend well and stir in pecans. Pour into prepared pie shell. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until golden brown and the filling is set.
