Chevre Fig butter

Chevre, dried figs and butter make a heavenly spread for muffins or bagels

Ingredients
- 1 cup chevre (about 8 ozs)
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 - 1/2 cup dried black mission figs
- 2 T honey
Preparation
Step 1
Adjust quantities to your taste.
Trim tough stems from figs and roughly chop.
Mix all ingredients in a food processor till smooth. (Letting it run for a couple of minutes will heat the ingredients enough that they will blend smoothly. But you may want to scrape the sides and encourage large chunks to mix.)

1/2 cup crumbled gorgonzola
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup chopped dried figs
2 T honey.
