Chili

Ingredients

  • 1 pound kidney beans ; drained (more or less according to taste)
  • 5 cups canned, whole tomatoes
  • 1 cup green peppers ; chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups onions ; chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic ; finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup parsley
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1/4-1/3 cup chili powder
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Saute meat and drain. In a large pot, saute peppers in a little olive oil. Add onions, garlic and butter and saute until tender. Add meat and all other ingredients.

Simmer 1 1/2-2 hours.
