Tex-Mex Pinwheels

Ingredients

  • 1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp. miracle whip
  • 4 oz. can diced green chilies, drained
  • 1 large tomato, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 large garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • flour tortillas

Preparation

Step 1

Blend cream cheese and miracle whip. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and refrigerate for about 2 hours. Spread cheese mixture over each tortilla and roll up tightly. Refrigerate until firm. Trim ends. Slice and place pinwheels flat on cookie sheet. Broil until lightly golden.

NOTE: Also a tasty dip to serve with taco chips.
