A nice fall twist to Amish Friendship Bread.
|1||C Amish Friendship Bread starter|
|¾||C apple sauce|
|1½||tsp. baking powder|
|½||tsp. baking soda|
|1||box instant vanilla pudding|
|1||C chopped apples|
|½||C sugar mixed with 1½ tsp cinnamon|
Grease pans. Sprinkle bottom and sides of pan with cinnamon sugar mixture. Preheat oven to 325 F. Add the ingredients to the starter in order. Pour into pans, sprinkle with remaining sugar and cinnamon mixture, and bake, about one hour.They are done when a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pans until the bread loosens and then turn out to a serving dish.
