Ingredients

  • 6 C tomato juice (or 1 of the big cans of tomato juice found in the juice aisle)
  • 4 cubes of beef bouillon
  • 4 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cucumber, unpared & diced
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 yellow onion, diced
  • 8 T wine vinegar
  • 2 t Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 t salt
  • 12 drops of Tabasco (more to taste if you want)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat juice in a large stock pot to boiling.
2. Add bouillion cubes, stirring until diluted.
3. Turn off the heat, but leave the pot on the stove & add all remaining ingredients.
4. Once cooled, transfer to a tupperware or bowl and refrigerate. Serve cold (preferrably with some tortilla chips and a cold white wine!).
