Ingredients

  • In the first bowl mix together:
  • 1-1/2 cups Flour
  • 2 tsp Salt, or to taste
  • 2 tsp Pepper, or to taste
  • In second bowl:
  • 6 Eggs, lightly beaten
  • In the third bowl mix together:
  • 3-1/2 cups Panko Crumbs
  • 1 tbsp Dried Basil
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 3 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1-1/2 tsp Cayenne Powder
  • 4 lbs Chicken Tenders

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 400 degrees.

Line the baking sheets with foil and spray with cooking spray.

Step 1: Dip the chicken tenders into the first bowl and dredge with flour.

Step 2: Dip your chicken into the egg bowl.

Step 3: Dip your chicken into the panko crumb bowl.

Place on the lined baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one so that the edges don't touch.

Place into the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until they look toasty brown. Remove from oven and using a fork or tongs, turn the tenders over. Place back into the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, until they look golden brown. Remove from oven.

Insert a fork into your largest/thickest tender. If meat feels firm, they should be ready. If you aren't sure, cut through the middle of the largest tender. If the meat is all white without any pink, they are definitely ready.

Best served warm and crispy from the oven.
