Red Beans with rice and Kielbasa

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup long grain wild rice- cooked
- 1 tbsp oil
- 6 oz. turkey kielbasa, cut into pieces
- 1 large chopped onion
- 2 stalks chopped celery
- 1 large chopped green pepper
- S & p
- 3 chopped cloves garlic
- 1 tblsp Creole recipe ( recipe follows)
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 15 oz can rinsed kidney beans
- 2 1/2 2 1/2 bunch washed and chopped kale leaves

Preparation
Step 1
In large pot, cook kielbasa in oil about 4 to 5 min. with slotted spoon, transfer to plate.
Add onion to same pan and cooked covered, stirring occasionally about 5-6 min. until tender. Add the celery, s & p , bell pepper and cover, stirring occas. for about 3 min. Add creole seasoning and cook stirring about 3 min. Return kielbasa to pan along with chicken broth along with 1 cp water, and simmer 5 min.
Using a fork, gently mash half the beans Stir beans and rice into soup and bring to a simmer. Add kale and simmer 5min
Creole Seasoning
In small dish add and stir the following:
1 tblp plus 1 tsp Hungarian paprika
1 tbsp garlic powder
½ ts. Pepper
½ tsp. each of onion powder, cayenne powder, oregano,thyme.
1 tblsp kosher salt.
