Ingredients

  • 12 cups popped corn
  • 4 cups rice chex
  • 4 c cheerios
  • 2 small cans mixed nuts or peanuts
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Mix corn, rice chex, cheerios and nuts in a large roasting pan.

In a large saucepan, heat butter, brown sugar and corn syrup to boiling. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes.

Remove syrup mixture from heat and add baking soda and vanilla. Stir mixture and drizzle over popcorn.

Toss lightly. Bake 1 hour at 250 degrees.
