Snowman Hats

Ingredients

• 2 bags of Wilton Light Cocoa Melts
• 1 bag big marshmallows
• 1 package of Oreos

Preparation

Step 1

Line two cookies sheets with wax paper. Melt chocolate melts using whatever method you prefer to use. Obviously, I use the Wilton Chocolate Melting Pot because I am obsessed with it.

Once chocolate has melted, place 1 teaspoon of melted chocolate on top of the Oreo and then stick a marshmallow on top of it. Set on wax paper lined cookie sheet and let dry until the cookie and marshmallow are firmly stuck together. Repeat until you have used up all the marshmallows (there are fewer marshmallows in a package than there are Oreos in a package).




Once all of the cookies and marshmallows are firmly stuck together, dip the cookie part in the chocolate. Submerge in chocolate until the bottom of the marshmallow is covered. Place on wax paper lined pan. Repeat until all cookies are chocolate covered.



Let the chocolate covered cookie dry. Once dried, dip the uncovered portion (the marshmallow part) in chocolate until everything is chocolate covered (no visible marshmallow or cookie parts).


Wa-la! Snowman hats!!! If you want to make it even more realistic, take a tube of green icing and pipe leaves onto the brim of the hat and place a cinnamon red hot in the middle!



Any snowman (even a patio table snowman...because we are fancy like that) would love to wear this delicious hat!
