Ingredients

  • 2 cups White Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1/3 cup Dark Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Cardamom
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp McCormick Gourmet Collection, Valencia Orange Peel
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Butter, cold, cut into small pieces
  • 1/3 cup Butterscotch Chips
  • 1/3 cup White Vanilla Chips
  • 1/2 cup Fat-Free Half and Half, plus 1-2 tbsp if needed

Step 1

Mix all dry ingredients together in large mixing bowl.

Add diced butter and using pastry cutter, work dough until mixture looks like coarse meal.

Add the chips and stir until well incorporated.

Make a well in middle of dry ingredients and start adding the liquid, tossing mixture with a fork until small clumps start forming.

Add more cream 1 tablespoon at a time, tossing to mix until the mixture comes together.

With a cookie scoop or table spoon, scoop out about 1/3 cup of dough and place on parchment lined baking sheet.

Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
