| 1 | C balsamic vinegar |
| ¾ | C ketchup |
| ½ | C brown sugar |
| 1 | garlic clove, minced |
| 1 | Tb Worcestershire sauce |
| 1 | Tb Dijon mustard |
| ½ | tsp salt |
| ½ | tsp freshly ground black pepper |
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and whisk until smooth. Simmer over medium heat until reduced by 1/3, about 20 minutes.
This sauce can be used on either grilled chicken or steak (grill to your liking, then glaze with the sauce). The sauce can also be served as a dipping sauce for chicken wings.
Will keep in the refrigerator for up to 3 months.
