Apple Fritters II

By

This is an old Southern recipe. When we got home from a trip through the South years ago, I found the recipe among the brochures I brought back. I've been making these fritters ever since. -John Robbins, Springdale, Pennsylvania (Taste of Home)

REVIEWS:

I just made these, they were simple and delicious. I used some cinnamon and a little more apple, the rest I left the same. Brought some over to my mom, she loved them too. Light and tasty!

I add cinnamon and increase salt to 1/2 teaspoon.

These were good, but very heavy. You couldn't really taste the apple.

My husband is a diabetic so I used Splenda in place of the sugar - worked great. Add cinnamon was a big plus too!
