Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup oil
  • 1 lb. brown sugar
  • 2 3/4 cup sifted flour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1- 6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Step 1

Blend oil with brown sugar; mix well. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add eggs, one at a time, to oil mixture, beating well after each addition. Blend in dry ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Spread in greased 15x10x1" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. When almost cool, cut into 2" squares. Makes about 4 doz. bars.
