Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. chopped onion
  • 4 c. finely chopped celery
  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • ~30 slices bread, small cubes
  • ~1 c. chicken broth
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. ground sage
  • 2 tsp. poultry seasoning

Step 1

Cook onion and celery in butter until tender. Combine with bread and seasonings. Add enough broth to moisten (I use a little extra). Bake in greased casserole dish, covered, at 350 for 30-40 mins.
