Oven Baked Brisket

Ingredients
- This recipe is for a brisket around 5 pounds, but can easily be doubled for a larger cut.
- 1 5lb. Brisket
- 1 T. Liquid Smoke
- 1 t. garlic powder
- 2 t. celery salt
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1 T. Worchestershire sauce
- 2 T. low salt soy sauce
- 3 T. brown sugar
- 1/2 cup catsup
- 1 T. dry mustard
- 1 T. low salt soy sauce

Preparation
Step 1
Combine liquid smoke, garlic powder, celery salt, salt, Worchestershire sauce, and 2 T. soy sauce.
Brisket can be cooked in a Browning Bag or in a roasting pan covered with heavy duty aluminum foil. Pour mixture over brisket and cook in a 300 degree oven for approximately 4 hours. Check for doneness and continue cooking if necessary.
Mix together brown sugar, catsup, dry mustard, and 1 T. soy sauce. Pour over the brisket and continue cooking for 1 additional hour.
