Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened nondairy milk (mixed nut or coconut recommended)
  • 1/2 cup kale or other greens
  • 1/4 teaspoon stevia
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon mint extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon xanthan gum or 1/4 teaspoon pectin
  • 1 1/2 cup ice, crushed is best

Step 1

Add everything except for the xanthan gum (or pectin) and the ice to a blender. Blend until the greens are completely liquid.

Add in the xanthan gum or pectin and blend for a few seconds to mix in. This is what will keep the ice from separating from the liquid and holds it all together.

Pour in the ice and blend until frosty and smooth.

Feel good that you're giving your family something they are asking for, but is more nutritious and tastes better than the original too!
