Preparation

Step 1

Dry Superfood Mix

½ cup spirulina or supergreens powder (alfalfa, barley grass, chlorella, spirulina mix)

4 tbs Paleo Superfood Porridge mix

Make the mixture:

Individually grind all seeds and nuts until fine then combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl.

Grate apple, sweet potato and or carrots then add to a pot with the turmeric and pepper then simmer on low with a few tablespoons of water until soft.

Remove from heat the stir through the remaining ingredients and let sit for at least 10-15 minutes to absorb some of the moisture and thicken.

Alternatively if you have a large high-speed blender you can do a few of the seeds and nuts together making sure not to do too much at once as you will find that the bottom ones grind and the top don’t.
Keep an eye on the walnuts and hemp seeds as they are very soft and will turn to mush very quickly.
Don't feel you have to stick to the recipe exactly, use what you can get and what you think you will like to get started then over time you can add more.
