  • 8 slices bread
  • Butter
  • Sliced Ham (12 thick slices or 24 thin slices)
  • 4 slices cheese
  • 4 tomato slices

Step 1

Heat the griddle. Toss the ham into the griddle to warm it up a little. When it starts to sizzle it’ll be warm enough, butter one side of each slice of bread while the ham warms. Put slice of bread on griddle buttered side down. Put a slice of cheese on bread slice, then top with ham, and tomato slice. Top with another slice of bread buttered side up. Once the bottom slice of bread is toasted enough, flip the sandwich over. About 2-3 minutes per side. When it’s done, pop it out onto a plate, cut in halves or quarters, and serve.
