Ingredients

  • 2 Cans dried beef
  • 12 tbsps butter
  • 12 tbsps flour
  • 4 cups milk
  • Pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter in large pot
Add flour stir until smooth
Add milk slowly, wisk while adding
Simmer until begins to thicken, continue to wisk
Add black pepper
Cut up and pull apart beef
Add to thickened milk/flour mixture
Simmer for an additional 10 minutes until hot through
If too thick, add milk
Serve over toast
