Ingredients
- For the filling:
- 1 cup boiled & mashed potatoes
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp dabeli masala
- 1 tbsp fresh grated coconut
- 3 tbsp khajur imli ki chutney
- A pinch of asafoetida
- 5-6 pav bread
- 1 tsp oil
- Salt to taste
- To serve:
- 1/2 cup masala peanuts
- 1/2 cup chopped coriander
- 1/2 cup fine sev
- 1/2 cup fresh pomegranate seeds
- 1/2 cup fresh grated coconut
- 2 tsp fresh coconut chutney

Step 1
For the filling:
1. Heat oil in a pan & add cumin seeds.
2. When they crackle, add asafoetida, potato,red chili powder,turmeric
powder, salt,dabeli masala, grated coconut & mix well.
3. Remove from fire, add khajur imli ki chutney & mix well.
How to serve:
1. Slit pav horizontally without cutting through.
2. Spread coconut chutney, a layer of filling on lower half of pav.
3.Top with chopped coriander,peanuts,grated coconut ,sev, pomegranate
seeds.
4. Press slightly & Serve immediately.
5. You can also serve dabeli by toasting it.
