Ingredients
- Pecan stuffing:
- 6 pork loin chops with pockets (1 1/2inch thick)
- 1/2 C chopped pecans
- 1/4 C sliced green onions
- 1/4 C chopped green pepper
- 3 T butter
- 1/4 t dried rosemary
- 1/8 t white pepper
- 2 C cubed stale whole wheat bread (1/2inch cubes)
- 1/3-1/2 C chicken broth

Step 1
Prepare stuffing:
Sautee pecans, onions, and green peppers in butter until onions are tender, stir in rosemary and pepper and saute 1 min longer. Combine pecan mix with bread cubes, toss with chicken broth to moisten. Makes about 2 1/2C
Make pockets in chops
Spoon stuffing in pockets, secure with wooden picks.
Grill until chops are no longer pink inside, about 50-60min. Indirect/med heat. Turn halfway thru cooking time.
