Ingredients
- 1 1/4 pound ground turkey (or ground beef)
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 (15 1/2-ounce) can corn, drained
- 1 (15 1/2-ounce) can peas, drained
- 1 6-ounce jar mushrooms, sliced, drained
- 2-3 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 (14 1/2-ounce) can beef broth
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 31/2 cups 3-1/2 mashed potatoes (prepared with milk and butter)
- 3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Preparation
Step 1
In a large skillet, cook turkey and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.
Brown mushrooms in oil.
Stir in the corn, peas, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce mushrooms and garlic.
Reduce heat; cover and cook for 5 minutes.
Combine the cornstarch, beef broth until well blended; stir into beef mixture.
Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
Stir in sour cream and heat through (do not boil).
Spread mashed potatoes over the top; sprinkle with cheese.
Place skillet in broiler until potatoes and cheese are melted and slightly browned.
