Preparation

Step 1

*Note:* This has become our favorite spaghetti sauce. It is very meaty and makes a large amount. Once it cools down, I usually package it for the freezer, estimating a two serving portion for each container. When freezing, make sure the containers are freezer safe. Do not fill containers completely as the sauce will expand. Cover the sauce with plastic wrap, making sure the food is completely covered and then secure with the lid. Label and freeze the container. On the day that you want spaghetti, remove the container from the freezer and let it thaw in the refrigerator. Having said all this, the first time you make this-you may want to divide the recipe in thirds and make sure that you like it first.
